Indian General Elections 2014 With Social Mobile Apps

Today is the time of social media, they are the powerful way of communication today and become handier to people with mobile applications. After the success and popularity of social media on web, social media apps make them more powerful. Social media apps are useful to-

1)      Connecting with people friends, family and colleague
2)      Marketing and Promotions
3)      Broadcasting
4)      Messaging, sharing files and photos

Social media Apps are the most powerful way of communication among people today and of course a little more popular among youth, children and professionals. The effect is seen in recent Delhi elections also. People uses various popular social media apps like facebook, Google hangout, Whatsapp, Wechat, blackberry messenger etc. to support the party and promote them.
All apps have their own features which make them popular among users. Social media Apps are mainly used for messaging today as message is sent with data, user should not bear any extra cost other than data pack charge. Also it overcomes message length, sending multimedia file as compare to normal SMS. Facebook and twitter are commonly used for sharing status, while other apps like Wechat are used for messaging and broadcasting.

In Indian General Elections 2014, it is expected that social Mobile Apps will be used more aggressively by people; people promote their party’s and political hero by using these. This revolution using social media app can makes a big change as we have seen in General Assembly Election of Delhi which recently held in December 2013. Social media apps are also useful in making people to vote. Many people put their profile pic as political party symbol and their status to promote party. I also vote in this election and use social media apps to promote my favourite Aam Aadmi Party.  Now it’s the time for Indian General Elections 2014.
